Child Development Supervisor Funding (Formally Level 3)

Professional development funding is available through AECEA to CDS' who are:

  • a Canadian Citizen or hold Canadian permanent resident status;
  • working as a paid staff member or family child care consultant/coordinator in a child care program or family day home agency; and
  • working a minimum of 80 hours a month; or 40 hours each month in a licensed out-of-school care program.

CDS' are eligible for up to $1,000 per fiscal year to attend post-secondary courses at a publicly funded post-secondary institution. 

Please note, all applications for funding through AECEA must be submitted prior to the start date of the course in order to qualify for funding.
