IIFL - Train the Facilitator - Trauma-Informed Approaches & Sciences of Hope

We know that true change happens in community, it is our intention to support the capacity of community to continue to build awareness around the needs of mental health. We are offering facilitator training sessions for interested and skilled community members who would like to be trained to facilitate these two specific sessions (Trauma-Informed Approach and Sciences of Hope) in their community. Participants will learn how to share content and facilitate conversations using a relationship-based approach. They will practice strategies that will activate learning and help future groups apply this knowledge and skill to their professional and personal lives. It is the expectation that after the training, community facilitators will offer sessions to community (beyond agency level) at no cost and be available to a variety of community organizations to support by sharing this information.

Please register if you are interested in becoming a Community Facilitator. We will be sending out application documents and ask that you complete and submit them to info@imagineinstitute.ca . If you are chosen to participate, the training is scheduled for August 9, 10 and 11, 2022
