Trying Differently Rather Than Harder: Understanding and Application of the Neurobehavioral Model For Children and Adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

Facilitator Nathalie Brassard completed an intensive mentorship with Diane Malbin, author of Trying Differently Rather Than Harder, to become a certified facilitator of the Neurobehavioural Model.

The workshop will increase understanding of FASD as a brain-based condition and provide tools, skills, and support for the development of accommodations that build on the strengths and potential of children, youth, and adults with FASD. This approach is an emerging best practice developed by Diane Malbin and supported by research on the brain.
