The Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF) is the country's largest non-profit, member-based early learning and child care organization. Established in 1987, it represents over 20 provincial and territorial organizations and 11,000 members in the field - including early learning and child care professionals, policy makers, academics, and parents! The CCCF has a vision to improve child care in Canada by supporting its members through advocating capacity building, building better practice, and providing networks and partnerships in the ultimate goal to support the healthy development of children. 

All AECEA members receive a free membership to the CCCF.

Econocoop is a cooperative organization established to maintain,  solidify and create childcare spaces in Canada. Created in 2020, Econocoop members across Canada, in all provinces and territories. In total, these members bring together over 750 childcare services representing more than 50,000 children. Associate membership with AECEA gives child care programs free access to the Econocoop group buying platform and calculator.

Imagine Institute for Learning (formerly Early Childhood Development Support Services) is a professional development and support organization located in Edmonton, AB. The resources offered by the Institute enables programs to meet the diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs of both staff and families in their communities. They have partnered with AECEA to offer discounts on both their public workshops to individuals and on-site workshops by centre.

The Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute (CTRI) provides training and resources in the areas of counselling, mental health, and violence prevention. All training materials are developed through the lens of our core beliefs, including the importance of being culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. We are currently offering a 15% discount on our workshops to AECEA Professional and Student members. For details on workshops coming to Alberta, please go to CTRI Alberta Public Workshops.

The Community Initiatives Program (CIP), is a project-based grant stream that supports projects that enhance and enrich communities throughout Alberta by providing assistance to non-profit organizations. AECEA was awarded a CIP grant in 2019 to create resources and videos on quality child care for parents, early childhood educators, and the general public.

Institute of Child Psychology (ICP) was founded to educate parents and professionals on issues pertaining to children’s mental health and to promote the psychological and emotional well-being of children and adolescents.

Its mission is to empower caregivers (i.e., parents, teachers, therapists, social workers, and psychologists) by giving them pertinent insights, skills, and tools necessary to help children thrive.
