ARCQE - An Introduction to the Ages and Stages Questionnaire: Social-emotional (ASQ:SE-2)

Event Date
Thu, Mar 16 2023, 6:30 - 9:30pm

ASQ:SE-2 Early identification of social-emotional problems is crucial, as more and more children are experiencing poverty and other risk factors for depression, anxiety, and antisocial behavior.  With Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional, 2nd edition (ASQ:SE-2), a parent-completed tool with a deep, exclusive focus on children's social and emotional development, you can quickly pinpoint behaviors of concern and identify any need for further assessment or ongoing monitoring.

The ASQ workshops are being offered at a subsidized rate of $10.30 per session, and each child care program represented in attendance will receive a set of complementary screening tools (limit one per program) which is of a $500 value.

* For those of you who have no background knowledge on ASQ, we strongly suggest you to take ASQ-3 as a prerequisite before taking ASQ:SE-2.

Online via Zoom

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
