Healthy Boundaries between Educators and Children
This interactive 3-hour session is designed for early learning and child care professionals to explore the importance of establishing, maintaining, and supporting healthy boundaries with children. Through a relationship-based approach, participants will gain insights into how boundaries contribute to emotional safety, trust, and positive interactions. Through discussions, reflective exercises, and exploring real-world scenarios, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to implement healthy boundaries in their daily practice.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Define and articulate the importance of healthy boundaries in early childhood settings and their role in fostering secure relationships.
- Implement co-regulation techniques to support children’s emotional development and self-regulation skills while respecting established boundaries.
