The curriculum explores intercultural practice and acknowledges others’ lived experiences and ways of knowing as they relate to working with teams.
Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
define the image of an Early Childhood Educator in Alberta.
recognize the importance of intercultural practice as an Early Childhood Educator.
identify what it means to be a trauma-aware educator.
define a professional learning plan.
identify resources necessary to plan a pathway for entry into post-secondary programs in early learning and child care.
