This 6-session training introduces you to the Kimochis® tools to support children in exploring and managing their feelings. This training will be valuable for early childhood educators as you support children through those big feelings. The training is free to ECEs that work with children ages 0-6 within licensed dayhomes and daycares in Alberta, who are members of AHVNA.
Research has shown that a focus on developing five core Social-Emotional Competencies provides positive outcomes for children. This training will be valuable for Educators as they support children through big feelings and engage families with practical activities which can be implemented at home.
Facilitated by Alberta Home Visitation Network Association (AHVNA) and Ellen Dodge, author of the Kimochis® curriculum. Release time funding may be available. Please contact AHVNA for more information.
