Training Description

Music is a powerful tool for supporting young children’s development — from language and social-emotional skills to movement, creativity, and joyful learning. This workshop offers educators practical strategies and foundational knowledge to confidently integrate music into daily routines and classroom activities.

Learning Objectives

The Early Years Outdoor Play and Learning Certification is a 30-hour, evidence-based micro-credential designed to support Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals in integrating outdoor play, nature connection, and Land-based learning into their practice. Through ten self-paced modules, participants explore child development in outdoor environments, design and facilitate inclusive play-based learning spaces, incorporate seasonal and Land-based activities, and promote children’s well-being, agency, collaboration, and leadership.

The Certificate is a virtual hybrid program designed for practitioners who engage and support families with young children, prenatal to six. Through a combination of live virtual and recorded sessions, participants will expand and strengthen their knowledge and skills in a number of areas related to infant and early mental health. Building upon the knowledge and experience of participants, the Certificate will delve into a range of topics including the science that supports the importance of infant and early mental health and its impact on lifelong wellness.

This interactive online learning focuses on providing knowledge and strategies to adults who support diverse learners in the early years (for example, preschool and kindergarten).

Register for one workshop or all. Workshops take place via Zoom. Certificates of completion are provided for each session to all participants who attend in real time.

The ideas and suggestions included in this checklist and resource hub— ranging from choosing safer cleaning products and toys to introducing a fragrance-free policy or composting program — can help a child care program go beyond basic regulatory requirements to create healthier and more sustainable indoor and outdoor environments for the children in their care.

This asynchronous (learn at your own pace) professional development course is geared for working professionals in early childhood education, and for parents and caregivers who are curious about supporting gender and gender diversity with young children. Course access is available for six months after you register.  Learners are encouraged to take one, 45-minute module per week for eight weeks, for a total of seven hours of professional development.

This online course was created using a creative and thoughtful approach that involved an extensive review of the original CCCF Family Child Care Training resources as well as the development of new material.

This online professional development opportunity is for individuals who are considering starting a home child care, as well as for those who are already providers. Upon completion of the online course, CCCF will provide a professional development certificate of completion.

This workshop series is perfect for early childhood educators who are looking for bite-sized skills to add to their toolkit. These introductory workshops are based on the Pyramid Model, an evidence-based framework for high quality and inclusive care.

In this series, each session explores a different area of the model. Workshops take place via Zoom. Register for one workshop or all. Certificates of completion are provided for each session to all participants who attend in real time.
