This curriculum explores children’s connection to their family, community, culture, and nature, and how educators can foster and nurture these relationships.
Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- recognize how differences in culture and values impact the role of an Early Childhood Educator.
- identify strategies to support developing relationships with children and caregivers.
- recall the benefits of nurturing children’s relationship with the land and nature.
- recognize the role of community in supporting children's growth and development.
Please note that if you are not yet ECE certified, this program does not meet the requirements for obtaining ECE certification.
