The curriculum examines the importance of care (spiritual, physical, emotional, social and mental well-being) in building healthy relationships in everyday ethical practice.
Learner outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- identify how ‘care’ is connected to educating young children.
- recognize the different aspects of a child's health and well-being (spiritual, physical, emotional, social, mental).
- identify methods to ensure the safety and well-being of children in the care of Early Childhood Educators.
- recognize strategies to nurture and care for oneself.
Please note that if you are not yet ECE certified, this program does not meet the requirements for obtaining ECE certification.
